President’s Desk: Shelly Johnson, ASC reflects on the expressive imagery in Sidney Lumet’s The Verdict, shot by 2025 ASC Lifetime Achievement Award honoree Andrzej Bartkowiak, ASC.

·       Cinematographer Andrew Wonder discusses shooting the drama Oh, Canada for director/writer Paul Schrader, his longtime mentor.  

·       ASC Lifetime Achievement Award honoree Andrzej Bartkowiak, ASC recalls his path from Poland to Hollywood, including a decades-long collaboration with Sidney Lumet and contributions to many other memorable projects.  

·       Career Achievement in Television Award honoree Michael Goi, ASC, ISC reflects on his creative journey from low-budget filmmaking in the Midwest to the top tier of American television.

·       Curtis Clark ASC Technical Achievement Award honoree and HydroFlex founder Pete Romano, ASC recalls a career of innovation as an underwater cinematographer and engineer.

·       Nicole Hirsch Whitaker, ASC and Beverly Hills Aerials chief aerial cinematographer Caleb des Cognets discuss how drones can be leveraged in preproduction and production, and AC spotlights recent innovations at DJI, Freefly, Flying Monster, Lightcraft, Helinet and Helicopter Film Services.
